ABSTRACT:
In present scenario the energy conservation plays an important role. It is because consumption of energy is increasing day by day and the generation is not matching with it. The energy conservation helps in reducing the energy consumption and provides the savings. While total energy management is very complex, there are some relatively simple strategies that can reduce energy consumption of the organization, lower costs, and advance your conservation goals. Energy conservation refers to the reducing of energy consumption through using less of an energy service.
An energy audit is an inspection, survey and analysis of energy flows in building and in industries and its report establishes the needs for plant metering and monitoring. Nowadays the new trends of power market, it’s very difficult to satisfy the power balance concept in the industries, Even though the consumers pay their demands very much costlier. So the energy conservation and management concept are necessary for the flexible utilities. This case study has been carried out in an industrial organization. By adopting proper measures for energy saving and energy audit the quantitative energy conservation has achieved.
